We're hiring a Subscriptions Marketing Lead
We have an immediate, exciting opportunity to join our team.
We are now looking for a Subscriptions Marketing Lead person as we grow our customer base internationally. The role will have workplace flexibility, allowing our new team member to work from home, or another suitable location. Ideally our new colleague will join us full-time, but we are also open to flexible hours to bring in the best candidate.

Ideal candidate
What we’re looking for…
- 5+ years B2B SaaS or subscription marketing experience with a proven track record of driving growth ideally in a small company.
- Proficient in Hubspot CRM and Marketing Automation tools - we need experience in database management, sales pipeline management and automation, building workflows from scratch, using and/or logic to build filters, building landing pages, creating email sequences.
- Experience of direct acquisition via email, content and social campaigns to drive new subscriptions.
- Experience running reactivation and conversion campaigns to drive customer retention.
- Experience running paid social and Google Ads campaigns ideally yourself, or as a minimum, working closely with an agency to do so.
- A head for numbers - you will understand the importance and relevance of a low CAC, a high CLTV and low churn and how they affect one another. And you will have experience of balancing driving volume subscriptions whilst keeping costs in-line with CAC targets.
- Innovative thinking - you will bring ideas of how to drive the business forward. You will be able to draw on marketing tactics and activities that you have seen work elsewhere and you will be confident implementing them.
- A hands-on approach - this is a busy role! You will be both planning and implementing. It’s an ideal role for a mid-level manager who wants to take the next step in their career.
- Autonomy and confidence - you will have confidence in your ability and your ideas and you will be adept at presenting these as a business case. You will be working with the founder who is a strong sales and product leader and who is extremely busy. She needs you to lead the marketing charge with skill and confidence.
- An appreciation of, or better still, a love of, gardening or garden design. Maybe you're an enthusiastic home gardener, maybe you are training in garden design as a possbile second career, maybe you love visiting RHS gardens. Whatever it is, you will have a distinct advantage in this role if you love gardens and garden design specifically.
- Some partnership or B2B marketplace sales experience.
- Some B2C marketing experience to compliment your strength in B2B subscriptions.
- Global marketing experience into English speaking countries - US, Canada, Australia etc.
